Searchmont is nestled in the mountains of the great Canadian Shield only 48 km. (30 mi.) north of Sault Ste. Marie. With our exceptional attention to detail, charm of our chalet and villa accommodations, and appeal of our many recreation programs and leisure opportunities, we have what it takes to keep you coming back time and time again.

Slopeside Accommodation Features, Services and Pricing
All of our slopeside villas and chalets are at the base of the mountain. All are very spacious and most are two levels. Features and services include:

Two to four separate bedrooms. Maximum occupancy for most accommodation units is 8 adults with use of cots and sofa beds.

Parking spaces for a minimum of two vehicles, with a large parking lot nearby to accommodate extra vehicles

Cleaning service

Access to sauna and outdoor hot tub next to main lodge (hot tub is currently not available; please confirm availability upon confirmation of reservation. Sorry for any inconvenience)

Two Day Minimum: From December 25th to March 17th, two (2) night minimum weekend stay, consisting of Friday and Saturday night, exists for all of our Slopeside villa and chalet accommodations.
Single nights on available weekends can only be booked 72 hours prior to the date.

Special unit requests in the past have limited our ability to fulfill all inquiries and thus left prime accommodations vacant. We will make every effort to accommodate you in the unit of your choice. We appreciate your understanding.
Standard Pets are now welcome in specially designated accommodations at Searchmont. Simply request pet friendly accommodations at the time of booking and up to two (2) pets per room may enjoy your vacation with the rest of the family.
For the enjoyment, comfort and safety of all of our guests, pets must be fully trained and socialized and kept in the designated areas of the property on a leash or in a carrier when outside. A pet accommodation fee of $25 per stay per room will be applied. (Service dogs are exempt from pet policy restrictions).
Check in 4pm, check out 11am. In order to adequately tend to housekeeping duties in a timely manner, late check outs are not permitted.
