Closed For Season (March 18)
After careful consideration, Searchmont Resort regrettably plans to cease operations for the 2019/20 season.
This decision was very difficult to make but following Ontario Premier Doug Ford's declared state of emergency this morning (http://www.cbc.ca/player/play/1712183875700) we felt it was in the best interest of the public to close immediately.
Today, March 17th, will be the last day of operations for this season. Guests staying in the villas and chalets will be asked to depart from the resort by checkout at 11am on Wednesday, March 18th. Sault Tourism (800-461-6020) has been notified to provide refunds for any remaining days that guests were expecting to stay with us.
Despite these recent unfortunate circumstances, this has been one of the best seasons ever for skiing and snowboarding at the resort. Searchmont Resort would like to thank all of our guests, staff and community partners for always being there for us.
A reminder that access to the hill is prohibited in the off-season. Season passes for next year are planned for sale beginning September.
Thank you for an incredible 2019/20 season.
