Provincial Competition hosted by Searchmont

The top 14 and 15 year old alpine ski racers in Ontario will be gathering next week at

Searchmont Resort, March 6ththrough 9th for the annual Provincial championships.

One hundred and eighty athletes are expected to compete in Slalom, Giant Slalom and Super-G

races hosted by the Searchmont Ski Runners.

 

This event has proven to be thrilling to watch, as several alumni have gone on to make the

Ontario and Canadian teams. “This is an exciting opportunity for the general public to watch some high-level racers” says Race Chair, Phil Virene, “Searchmont is the ideal location for an event of this caliber, and there are lots of great spots to catch some action first-hand. Bring your cow-bells!”

 

The Searchmont Ski Runners look forward to hosting this event and invite the public to join

them in welcoming competitors from across the province.

 

Races start at 10:00 AM Thursday through Saturday of next week.
